Alan Dyer, Founder and Artistic Director

Founder and Artistic Director Alan Dyer is a widely respected choral director, performer, and music educator. In addition to leading The Texas Voices, Alan is music associate at First Unitarian Church of Dallas. He also accompanies voice students at Texas A&M Commerce.
 
Throughout his career, Alan has worked with renowned choral directors such as Dr. Lloyd Pfautsch and John Rutter. He earned his master’s of music degree from Southern Methodist University and his bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Dallas Baptist University. 
 
Alan is active in the American Choral Directors Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association. He has performed throughout the U.S. and in Europe, including an organ performance at a special mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.
